“Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder”. It means that beauty doesn’t prevail on its own, but is framed by the spectator. I personally believe in inner beauty. According to you what is important a beautiful face or a beautiful heart?? Outer beauty is not permanent, as it withers away some time or the other. Making fun of someone for their dingy or bad looks is the most miserable thing one can do. People with real inner beauty always stay in the hearts of others, even after their death. It’s not about how your face looks in the mirror, it’s about how you see yourself. Acceptance is very important. Accept yourself, with all those scars on the face, and all the flaws. Start loving yourself the way you’re and make others love you too! Inner beauty never needs a makeover. It is always natural and pure. But for today’s generation, good looks are more important. They think that pretty can pay them everything that they wish. But in reality, it is just a desire and hope. Teens should understand that everything is not about prettiness, life is not about dazzling people by your good looks, but to impress others by reflecting your inner beauty. People who are attached to outer beauty live an ostensible life. Our faces and bodies are like a gift wrap, the real present lies what is within. Inner beauty reflects our inner strength, inner character and our ethics. I have seen many pretty faces who are actually not ‘conventionally pretty’. A beautiful face has value only when it has a pretty heart too! Remember, the movie “Beauty and the Beast’. What was your takeaway from it? After watching the movie I learnt that true beauty comes from within; it’s about being kind to others and not only considering yourself. ‘Belle’ the character in the movie fell in love with the Beast by seeing his inner beauty despite his outward appearance and mannerism.
Why do you love your mom?? Because she is beautiful! Of course, not. You love her because she really loves you, makes you feel special at all times and above all take care of even small things. That’s called pure and natural heart.
Recently, I saw the movie ‘Chhapaak’ based on a true story of Laxmi Agarwal, an acid attack survivor. It is a big lesson for those who judge others on the basis of good looks. So, it is a must-watch movie for all those who live a superficial life and believe in outer beauty.
How to find your inner beauty?
Be positive: It is very important to think positive about your personality rather than your outer looks. Be confident and always keep smiling because the happier you are, the more beautiful you become.
Love yourself: Start loving yourself, you will look pretty. What you are on the inside will manifest on the outside by evoking spirits.
Practising Authenticity: Inner beauty is like a mirror which reflects truthfulness and sincerity about who you are.
A beautiful heart always goes at a greater distance. It nudges the lives of those around them. Outer beauty may catch the eyes for a small amount of time, but a good and pure heart nabs the soul.
