Stamina is the strength and energy that allow you to sustain the physical or mental effort for a longer period of time.
Increasing your stamina is very important as it helps you to endure discomfort or stress when you are doing an activity.
It also reduces fatigue and exhaustion. Having high stamina allows you to perform your daily activities at a higher level while using less energy.
I am listing five exercises which will definitely help you all to increase your stamina:
1. Side Plank
Lie down on your side. Now, keeping your elbow as the support, lift your entire body.
Hold this position for 10 seconds.
The longer you do this exercise, the stronger you will become.
Then repeat it again.
It helps in strengthening your lower and side abdominal muscles.
It increases your energy and stamina.
It even improves your posture.
Lie down on the floor, on your stomach, with your palms near the chest.
Lift your body, putting all the pressure on the palm. Hold the pose for 10 seconds.
Do this exercise 5 times and gradually, increase the count.

It puts to use a wide range of your muscles like the chest, biceps, triceps, shoulder, back and legs.
3. Chair Dips
Sit in a chair with armrests. Keep your back straight and both your feet steady on the floor.
Bend a little forward and with the support of the armrests, move your body off the chair slowly while, breathing out.
Hold the position for 5 counts and come back to the original position while, breathing in slowly.
Repeat this step for 3-4 times.
It is a good exercise for those who work for long hours at the office on computers.

While standing with your feet and shoulder-width apart, keep your spine straight.
With your right leg, step forward and bend your hips so that, both your knees form a 90-degree angle.
Your right knee should not extend beyond your ankle and your left knee, though bent, should not touch the ground.
Hold it for 20 seconds and repeat it again.
It is a simple exercise that helps in strengthening your back, hips, hamstrings, quads, abs all at once.
It improves your posture.
It strengthens the lower body.
5. Mountain Climbers
Firstly, lie down on the floor with your face down. Lift your body by supporting it against your toes and palms of your hand.
Your alignment should be in a straight line with your heels and crown aligned correctly.
Pull your right knee towards your midsection and hold the position for 10 seconds.
Put your right foot back in position and repeat the same with your left foot.
Repeat these steps again.
